An
alternative to the beach demonstrating the variety of
Jamaica!
This
attraction is about twenty-three miles East of Silver Sands,
between Runaway Bay and Chukka Cove Stables. It should take
about thirty-five minutes to get there from Silver
Sands.

The
Cranbrook Flower Forest describes itself on its
flyer as a place offering
"a unique experience of peace and natural
beauty."
It
goes on to state:
"An impressive display of anthuriums and orchids. A
trail along the banks of a meandering stream that
leads to the giant tree ferns, spectacular torch
ginger, clusters of pink and red ginger, heliconia,
Bird of Paradise, begonia, yellow shrimp plant,
patches of croton, philodendron, and palms and
ferns of many varieties."
Activities
include:
Nature Trail, Bird Watching, Wading in the
stream, Lawn Croquet, Pond Fishing, Donkey Rides,
Volleyball
The
facilities include restrooms, snack shop and dining
area, and a spacious gazebo.
