Dear Prem:
First of all, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet you...maybe next time!
My husband and I spent our 25th anniversary in Santa Margherita, and frankly, we could not have picked a better spot!! The house, the yard, the gardens, the pool and the view were absolutely THE BEST. And if that weren't enough, we also had Dainty and Paulette, two of the sweetest women we've ever met. They made us feel right at home, did our laundry, picked up for us and served us some of the best food we've ever eaten. We wanted them to come home with us, but who would leave such a perfect spot! Popsy, our gardener, was a sweetie too. He told us what all the critters were that we were seeing and seemed most proud of the beautiful yard - rightly so.
The security was also unbelievable. We felt so safe all the time. We lost power in part of the house one night before bed, so we called security to let them know that our outside lights were out. Within minutes, 4 men were at the house, and I'm pretty sure one of them stayed right outside all night. What a comfort.
I could go on and on, Prem. Suffice it to say, however, that we WILL be back as soon as we can. There's absolutely no need to look anywhere else when you've found paradise!
