. . . Nutshell Cottage, December '03
Hi all:
This is just a short note to say Happy Holidays and to let you know that we, each one of us, enjoyed our stay.
The staff, from our airport pick-up to our airport drop off, was the BOMB. They could not have been better. Our cook Miss Enid was the heart of the house. All I can say is God bless that lady's hands. There was not one meal prepared by her which we did not consume in its entirety. I am not a fan of roasted chicken BUT the night the girls asked her to fix it for dinner I had mixed feelings. After dinner I was a believer. In fact we had it another night for dinner at, you guessed it,my request.
Our housekeeper was Miss Elaine. The four of us think that with her our house was the cleanest on the compound. Her chores were done with such precision and speed we were sure she was a magician. She wash and returned our clothing to us so quickly we had to wonder if we had given them to her at all. But we had because when they were returned to us they looked better and smelled great and were folded.
That NUTSHELL was truly a home away from home. It was ideal for us -- Cozy & Comfy. The outdoor spa was visited by us daily for at least 4 hours .
We will be returning. In fact in our last conversation we were thinking about August '04.
