Hi Prem,
Yesterday I was sitting outside trying to refresh my Jamaican tan and was jotting down some notes to send a letter to you and here you are!
Your home is even more charming and beautiful than the pictures show. Perhaps that is so in part because of Una, Carol and Margaret. They are treasures! They made us feel at home and were so good to us (we're not used to being that spoiled).
Some days we would float in the lovely pool with a Red Stripe or one of Carol's yummy rum punches saying "what shall we do today?" knowing it was only this we wanted to do.
We only ate out once or twice because how could it get any better than Margaret or Una's cooking.
Your office staff (Angella's great), the security staff, lifeguards at the beautiful beach, drivers were friendly and helpful.
Discovering the fisherman's beach, Leroy and all the great people down there was an added bonus. We felt we got a good insight on the real Jamaica--it's people! Their ideas and attitudes toward life have touched us. How could anyone have a true Jamaican experience in a hotel or touristy town?
I'm so glad the internet led us to you, CCV and Silver Sands. You can believe this family will be singing your praises for a long time to come and will be hoping to return ourselves.
Sorry I've rambled, but having a wonderful experience does that to me!
