The staff was very helpful and courteous, and I would definitely recommend t you to my friends.
I chose to do business with you because I liked the idea of having our own private place to stay instead of being in a hotel or resort, and also because when I visited your website it was so informative. That was what really sold me. The testimonials were a pig plus.
There were no major problems at all. The only thing that was a little bit uncomfortable at first was having the housekeeper there during the day. Miss Enid was great, but most of the time we probably would have preferred to be alone. We did ask her to take one day off during our stay, but we felt bad asking for more than that. I think perhaps even if you had an information sheet at the villa that explained what you can reasonably request of the housekeeper concerning hours, days off, groceries, cooking, etc.
Our food budget was kind of tight, and we were kind of surprised by Miss Enid going out and buying a bunch of groceries for us without asking first. I know she was just trying to be thoughtful, and everything worked out fine, but we would have preferred to shop for ourselves or at least have Miss Enid give us a list of what she was planning to buy so that we could have some input. Please don't take this as a complaint against Miss Enid because she is so sweet and a great housekeeper, but we were kind of torn, because we didn't want to make Miss Enid feel unwanted by asker her not to buy groceries and not to cook some days and to not even come some days, but if we knew that this wasn't unusual or at least was acceptable then we wouldn't have had to worry about it.
The ground transportation was great, and most of the drivers were so helpful and friendly. The free shuttle to falmouth and the dunn's river falls deal were really great too. It would be great if you could do deals like the dunn's river falls trip for other places too, so that people could share the cost of transportation. Maybe to places like the martha brae, montego bay, ocho rios, or the luminous bay.
I hope it doesn't sound like i'm critisizing the trip, because overall it was great! I just wanted to tell you ways you can make it better. I will absolutely try to come back someday when I can save up enough.
