My wife and I had the good fortune
to enjoy a week (May 31 to June 7, 2003) in Honeycomb Villa
with the Walter Toole party. Two of the couples were
returnees to Silver Sands, so our expectations were high.
I want to assure you that our expectations were
exceeded.
The home was lovely, the beach beautiful and the setting perfect. Lorna, Paulette and Kenroy made us feel like visiting royalty. Trish was also quite helpful during our stay.
We made a few excursions--Braco Stables for horseback riding, Chukka Cove for the mountain bike adventure, and the remarkable Luminescent Bay--but the most pleasant moments were spent poolside, enjoying a wicked rum punch and anticipating another wonderful meal. At the beginning of the low season, things were peaceful, just as we wanted. Texans are famous (or infamous, perhaps) for boasting about our home. But we left Silver Sands only reluctantly, and already looking forward to the next visit.
One more point. I want to commend you for having a website that does not overstate or overpromise, but rather accurately describes all aspects of the resort. Such honesty is, sadly, not the norm.
