Hi Prem,
Never got around to writing to let you know about our last trip to Silver Sands. We spent 10 days at Je Suis Content at the end of March and it was really great. Lisa, the cook and Danna took great care of us. Lisa is a fantastic cook and made us everything that I asked for or even mentioned. She took special care of all of us to be sure that we were pleased. Danna was equally great, she helped cook, clean and kept all of our clothes in order.
The price of food, again was reasonable. We had lobster 2 nites, jerk chicken shrimp, steak and plenty of side dishes. Again, about $100 per person for the 10 days. We had a fabulous dinner at Glistening Waters and will return there again to dine. Took the trip to XXXXXXXX and would not do that again, it really wasn't anything special.
Other than those 2 things we lounged around the pool, and spent some time get reacquainted with our Jamaican friends at Fisherman's Beach. We purchased lots of wood carvings and alot of jewelry and misc stuff from my friend Jennifer. Unfortunately when we were there the weather was a bit unfriendly.....lots of wind meant no kayaking or snorkeling.
I do want to say that the patio bar and grill were in disrepair and I was disappointed. But we have been assured that their is a new proprietor that will get things back in shape. (Note: A new proprietor took over in April '04)
I was also disappointed that the house did not have a CD player, but your staff at CCV kindly brought us a portable one to use! Thanks! Your staff is great! Speaking of your staff, they do a wonderful job of trying to please every request. Our air conditioner in one of the rooms blew and they got right on it.
I would recommend to anyone to bring flashlights, our electric went out ( a transformer blew) and we were out of electric for 24 hours. We made the best of it though.
Again, I would fully recommend Silver Sands to anyone looking for a restful vacation with fabulous service and food. Our plans are to return next year and we have already reserved Silver Sands specifically Je Suis Content because of Lisa and Danna, two of the most wonderful woman I have met. They are such a pleasure to be around and we became like family.

Again, truly satisfied and will return next year to make it our 3rd visit.
