Dear Prem,
. . . Our stay was P E R F E C T at Endless Summer Villa. It did exceed all of my expectations. The Villa is so spacious that even with 11 of us there, we never had the feeling of being closed in. There were times when no one knew where the others were. We were able to spread out, and relax and have our quiet time when we wanted it.
From arrival at the airport, until our departure, your entire staff took very good care of us. Una, Merlene, Annette and Betty did a wonderful time with our meals, and the meals we asked for were prepared as we wished. Part of the time, we let them plan the menus, which were all good. We had some delicious cakes which were baked by Una. And a Key Lime pie, to die for. It was delicious. The other lady who came in part time did a great job also. Unfortunately, I can't recall her name.
Your people took care of us from the very beginning, when I first started planning the trip, back in September of 2005. I had lots of questions, and was constantly in contact with Angella or Debby-Ann. They were always most prompt in answering my questions. Always very courteous.
. . . Nine of our party left on the trip from Raleigh-Durham. Due to extremely bad weather the night before we were to leave the next morning, our flight was canceled, and we were re-booked for the following day. In the meantime my daughter and her husband had already boarded their plane from Atlanta, not knowing what had happened in Raleigh. I had no way to contact her. Our flight was due in before theirs was and she was expecting us to be there waiting for the two of them.
I contacted your office via email, and explained what had happened. I received a phone call within minutes of sending my email, from Angella. She assured me they would take care of the situation. Your reps, Kay and Mark, already in transit to the airport, were notified, and they met my daughter and her husband and explained what had happened, and took them to the Villa. The staff at the Villa took very good care of them.
. . . We took a few side excursions, and all of these were arranged by either Angella or Debby-Ann. Our drivers, Mark or Martin were always punctual. Five of our group decided to go to Montego Bay one day, and Martin took them. Not only did he wait at various places for them to shop, he also would ride them to another location for more shopping. They enjoyed their outing, and without the responsibility of having to take the children. A sitter was hired for the children, and the three adults who did not go to Montego Bay, had a relaxed day, knowing the children were being cared for.
My husband enjoys wine but was unable to locate a corkscrew. I think that was the only thing the kitchen did not have. My husband told Una the next morning that he would like to have a cork screw, and it was not long at all before he had a cork screw. The house staff was always eager to please and they were always most accommodating.
. . . Between the beach, the pool, the hot tub, the Villa and the staff, we all thought we had landed in paradise.
Alas, all good things must come to an end. With no exceptions, none of us wanted to leave. My three grandchildren, ages 4, 5 and 6, all came to me and told me " Grandmama, we don't want to go". We had three children who were really quite sad because we did have to leave.
I could go on and on but I will close for now. We all had a wonderful time and it truly was a memorable trip. Your staff made it all possible. As with all things unknown, I was apprehensive when I booked with you via the Internet. I thought so many times, when we got there it would not be as it was represented. But on the day my daughter and her husband arrived, and when I finally was able to speak with her, I asked her how it was, she said " Mama, it's wonderful. Just like the pictures, and everyone has been so nice. " And then she raved about the delicious lunch which was waiting for them when they arrived at the Villa. I remember telling her if she enjoyed the lunch, she would love the dinner. I had sent menus for the first few days, for the cooks to prepare.
Thank you again for everything you and your staff did to make this the best holiday our family has ever had. We all look forward to returning, and seeing the friends we made while we were there. Please give my kindest regards to all of your staff. They are all to be congratulated for a job very well done.
