Guests' Letters . . . Endless Summer, November '00
Thursday night we all walked up to the welcome party at the Silver Sands office and had a great time. I recognized the bartender from his picture on the website. Natalie, Brenton and Mark were there. The guys made arrangements for their fishing trip the next morning with Mark. We also enjoyed talking with some of the other visitors. We found out there was to be a big wedding on Saturday night just a couple of houses down the beach from Endless Summer. Friday morning was quiet with all of the guys gone fishing. Tashana made ham and french toast for breakfast. Of course, we ate like pigs. But, with the guys gone, we went shopping. We also took the children to the playground, played in the waves, collected more shells, took naps and read books. In addition to talking with Merline, Tashana, and Gloria. And, Cheryl had her hair beaded. The guys returned from fishing with great stories. Bill (my son-in-law) caught a 96 pound blue marlin. Absolutely made his entire vacation. (There were some conflicts related to the fishing trip, but they still had a great time.) For dinner, we had fish, shrimp and lobster caught that morning just off shore. Cooked to perfection. We spend the evening sharing stories of the day and making plans for Saturday. I believe Saturday was our best day at Endless Summer. We finally braved the cold water of the pool and we all played like children. We laughed and laughed. Took lots of pictures, drank alot of beer, had a great time. In the afternoon, some of us decided to snorkel just off shore. That was absolutely fascinating - they couldn't get enough. Luckily, we did bring an underwater camera. That evening, Gloria out did herself with beef tenderloin. By evening we could hear the Jamaican music from the wedding down the beach. We also exchanged addresses and shared pictures with Merline and Gloria. Sunday, we had to be up early and head for the airport. We did get to see Tashana and get her address. The staff were all arriving early - there was another party of 10 arriving that day. We all shared stories and tried to decide what our favorite part of the vacation was. Without a doubt, it is the people we met. The staff and drivers we talked to every day and got to know, they are wonderful people. You should encourage your visitors to talk to them and get to know them. They were by far the highlight of our trip. Prem, we could not be happier. The house was just as we saw it on the website, but better. Kurt and I were lucky enough to have the upstairs bedroom. Hearing the waves hit the shore was great. You do a superb job, and we will continue to refer our friends to you. After we get all of our pictures back, we will e-mail some of them to you for use on your website if you would like. We would be more than happy to talk to anyone who has questions about Silver Sands or Endless Summer. We will be in touch very soon, Faye & Kurt Lisk See the Lisk
