Our family got back yesterday afternoon from a wonderful week at Rum Jetty. Gloria and Judy were as good as the promotional info on them said. In fact, everything was as good or better than expected . . .
Errol took us snorkeling (some more than once) and Charles brought us lobster and fish as well as interesting information about the house and area. As I mentioned, we were well fed and Gloria and Judy provided us with a mixed diet of Jamaican and more familiar dishes. We had all of our breakfasts and dinners at Rum Jetty and about half the lunches. Our costs for food for 10 adults, 2 teens and 2 children were around $9/day. Incredible that we had steak, lobster, oxtail, fish, crab and lots of fruits and vegetables for that amount!
Marva kept our rooms picture perfect and the food coming when she served and we loved the laundry service once we found out about it. Lots of little things like hooks for hanging things and the outside shower made the house very livable.
Again, we all had a wonderful time and the house was beautiful and comfortable. . .
We hope to come again . . .
