Guests' Letters . . . Rum Jetty, May '00
Dear Prem, Well we arrived home late last night from our week at Rum Jetty. Sure is depressing being back. . .no ocean lapping up against the shore, no bacon, eggs, mango and bammie (sp?) prepared for me, no one to make my bed! I just wanted to let you know what an absolutely excellent vacation the 12 of us had. Everything was incredible. I always had this little nagging going on in the back of my head that Prem was actually a 19 year old computer student and when we got to Jamaica there would be no Silver Sands, no Rum Jetty. We drove up to the house and everyone went 'ahhhhhhh', we went inside and everyone went 'ahhhhhhhh'. Then of course everyone thanked 'me' for having arranged this wonderful vacation to such a terrific spot!
We hired a band one night to play at the house, it turned out to be really fun. We enjoyed the 'Craft Market' down the beach and all the people there. They proudly told us 'they were on the internet'! We heard your name mentioned around, you seem to be a pretty popular fellow. We had a little problem with the vehicle we rented but Angela at the office worked really hard and got everything sorted out really efficiently. We drove up to the Blue Mountains, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Negril. We stopped at every bakery in every town and got Patties and Meatloaf! The staff at the house were so wonderful. We felt like we had known them forever! When you see them again please send them our love. We will definitely be back (perhaps next year same time?). I can't think of any place else that any of us would prefer to go to. I surely lucked out that morning I found you on the Internet. :-) Thanks again and if I get some good photos I will attempt to scan them in and pass them on for the scrap book. Sincerely
