. . . Endless Summer, February '00
Hi Prem,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. We had a great time at Endless Summer. It was very windy most of the days we were there and it rained a lot. Actually it was about every other day.
Yes, we would recommend you to our friends. We invited a couple of friends to join us for a couple days and they enjoyed it a lot.
Russ did an extensive search on the internet for a perfect place to go to celebrate our 30th anniversary and your web site stood out above all the rest in the way you presented the various villas. We were extremely impressed with the web site and how we could do further search in to the homes and the pictures definitely sold us on the villa we selected. Also the extra information on where to go and what to do was extremely helpful in knowing how to plan and decide what we would enjoy for activities while we were there.
As our first time visiting outside of the United States we felt that everything went extremely well. Your staff who met us there were very helpful and very courteous. Paul and Sasha met us at the airport and they took us to Silver Sands. Our first car ride in Jamaica was an exhilarating experience.
Tashana met us at the door when we came in and made us feel very welcome and at home. We really enjoyed Tashana and visiting with her. So nice to have the hot Blue Mountain coffee each morning and the wonderful breakfasts.
After reading about Betty's meals, we looked forward to each of her dinners. Her Key Lime Pie was out of this world. The best we ever had. With Merlene's assistance in cooking the lobster and shrimp, the seafood was fabulous. We enjoyed the Jamaican style of cooking, which we encouraged them to do for us while we were there.
We appreciated Merlene and Betty's cheerful attitudes and visiting with them about life in Jamaica. It was fun to learn about the differences in life there and in Minnesota. They said they wished we could have brought them some snow.
It was great to be waited on and treated so special by the entire staff.
Everyone we met at Silver Sands was envious that we were staying at Endless Summer. The house was wonderful and we especially enjoyed the master bedroom that overlooked the ocean and the sound of the waves while we slept. The view from where we were situated made it so special as we could look out and see the cruise ships pass by while we ate dinner each evening.
We made two trips along the coast and into the countryside with Trevor as our driver. He was extremely knowledgeable on any subject that we asked questions about. He was a terrific guide as he told us what we were seeing. We would highly recommend Trevor as a driver to go out and see the area.
With all the good things we only had one small disappointment. That was the temperature of the swimming pool and whirlpool in the evening when we would choose to use them. The solar heating process didn't keep the whirlpool warm enough to use it after dark.
Erroll took us to the deserted beach one day for a few hours. That was a very special time for us to get away and be all on our own. Erroll was very accommodating and a very nice man. We felt very safe with him and he acted like he appreciated the business. Russ did a little snorkeling there on the beach because it was calm the day we were there.
Russ got a rash and some swelling while we were there and your office staff was good about telling us where to locate a doctor. The doctor was very helpful and nice.
The only thing that could have made it any more enjoyable would have been perfect weather, and you aren't in control of that.
We hope to get to return some day.
