. . . Endless Summer, June '00
Hi Prem,
I will try to keep this short but I'm not too sure if I can or not. We are all back home safely and have a couple of work days under our belts by now. The stay at Endless Summer was absolutely wonderful. We all had a great time and appreciate all of your hard work in helping us pull this off & for having such wonderful taste in staff, from the people at the office to each and everyone that we came in contact with from Custom Carribean Vacations, Ltd.
I don't even know where to start. At the beginning with Johnnie P. & Sasha picking us up at the airport and being so wonderful and helpful on our intial trip to Endless Summer we had quite a great time and was not worried a bit right from the start.
Introducing us to Merlene, Tashana & Belvit when we arrived at Endless Summer. We had no idea that in such a short time we would learn to respect & love them as much as we do. And I hope it is the beginning of a very long friendship with them all. Merlene, Belvit, Betty & Tashana took great care of us while we were at Endless Summer and Johnnie P. took great care of us when we were away. They all were very helpful, loving, & protective of each of us and that for 11 Adults had to be a great burden in itself.
No one that is looking in the future to come and stay at Endless Summer could ever imagine how wonderful they will be treated as well as taken care of. I just hope that we weren't too much trouble. I know that with that many people, we were indecisive and probably a little hard to try and satisfy all at one time. But they all did a very good job of it and yes even Sheriff Angie got in on the fun.
And with that I want to say how much we appreciated Errol. He also was very pleasant and helpful with the snorkeling trips. As well as Roy, David, Garth and Ray all from the club house we had great fun with them all. We never met a stranger or a person that didn't make us feel like we were old friends returning when actually we had never met them before.
I don't know any words that would explain how much we will miss Merlene, Tashana, Betty, Belvitt, or Johnnie P. We spent the most time with them therefore we made great friends who will be thought of often and loved forever. I can never express how much we appreciated the friendship, respect and love that we felt from all of them.
And yes if I ever need information or help in the future we would most definately call upon Angie. After going to the office and meeting with her on Monday we felt much more informed and relaxed about what to do and where to go for the week. And if there was anything that was questioned around the house she was sure to step in and take charge and make everything (A) O.K.Ý
I still don't feel like I have expressed how much we enjoyed all of the staff and Johnnie P. I want to get on the mountain and tell everyone that can hear how wonderful they all are, including Johnnie P.
Anyone in the future that may have the pleasure of staying at Endless Summer and coming in contact with them and having Johnnie P. as the driver, will probably never have as much fun and appreciate them the way we did.
And would we recommend Endless Summer or Custom Carribean Vacations to our friends, loved ones or anyone else the answer is YES, We have and will anytime.
And for the people out there that doesn't feel they have a need for a home the size of Endless Summer I had the pleasure of going through The Orchid House while we were there and I can assure you that if we were to come back and not stay at Endless Summer I would most definately choose The Orchid House it like Endless Summer was first class. And I know that the people at the office and the drivers are also.
I can't imagine anyone staying with Custom Carribean Vacations ever having anything bad to say about anything or anyone. I or the 10 other people that stayed with me never seen or heard anything but much respect and much love!!
Now I think I would like to conger up a way that We can bring them all to the U.S. so that we can enjoy them all on a more regular basis and I'm very sad that we never had the opportunity to meet their families and children that we were so inquisitive about. And that they had wonderful stories of.
We will definately be back one day and probably not near as soon as we would like but until then we have nothing but much love and respect for everyone. As well as you who was very helpful and had everything just as you assured me it would be. And I don't think I have gotten on the subject of Betty's baking and Festival, all I have to say is it was much appreciated and vvvveeeerrrrryyyy good no matter what she baked, and that I don't think that my husband or myself truly let her know how much we appreciated the absolutely wonderful cake she made him for his birthday our first night there.Please let her know if we did not express it enough while we were there.
And to Johnnie P. Ya Mon Keep On Truckin!! If there is any questions that I can answer for anyone coming to Silver Sands in the future please don't hesitate to give them my email address. If there is anything that I feel that could be done to help future guest would be to add Ricks Cafe in Negril to your to do list and let them know that it should probably be a day trip, because it takes approximately 3 hrs to get there, but it is well worth it, We had three of our people that was brave enough to jump off the cliffs.
Also, I think Montego Bay would be a great day trip to include eating and playing in the water at Margaritaville, We went in the evening and all said that it would have been fun to play there during the early afternoon going down the slide & playing on the water trampolines. Also, The Pelican Grill was a great dinner place but, you are very full when you leave so you may want to do that one evening and go to the gaming lounge. And the Glisten Waters lagoon is best to do if it hasn't just been raining because it doesn't seem to glow as much.
But other than that I can't think of one thing about the house or the staff that could be added to or improved.
