Hi Prem -- just wanted to let you
know we had a MARVELOUS vacation in Jamaica.
Santa Margarita was beautiful, Dainty and Paulette were awesome and we really enjoyed meeting all of the local people. It was one of my best vacations ever and I can't wait to plan a return trip. Which is where I was hoping you could provide me with some insight.................
...I must say -- I really did love going when we did this year because it WASN"T busy and I felt like we had the place pretty much to ourselves......
So I would appreciate any of your comments when you get a chance -- and a great big thanks to you and the crew (Angela, Val, Trushan and the others) for making our stay sooooooooo comfortable.
What we like MOST about Silver-Sands:
- meeting the local people -- sincerely kind and interesting to talk to
- the people who worked at Silver-Sands; very professional, efficient, and enjoyable to deal with
- having 2 wonderful ladies to take care of us -- the food was exquisite
- the lush tropical vegetation, the smell of flowers and the site of white blossoms falling from the trees
- the adorable little geckos running to and fro
- the feeling of security that came with the staff of security guards
- Fisherman's Beach: Leroy's place and all of the artists on the beach (we got to know them all!)
- Red Stripe and Kelly's Pina Coladas
- Shopping at Ocho Rios
When we got home I found myself completely relaxed and in a much better frame of mind. I often day-dreamed about what I would be doing if I was still there on vacation. I also wondered how I could become independently wealthy so I could make as many trips as I wanted to explore more of the houses. I'm definitely going to start a Jamaica Vacation fund so that we will be able to return year after year.
Ted mentioned that you were going to be meeting with the people at Fisherman's Beach to see what you could do about improving the grounds -- was the outcome of that meeting positive?
Anyway -- I had better get back to work. I have been recommending your place to everyone I talk to and I'm sure there will be some friends of mine visiting at some point in time. Enjoy your weekend and I look forward to your response/recommendation.
