I cannot say enough about Silver
Sands! The resort, the villas, the people/staff, everything
was just incredible. My husband, Jon, and I were
married at your resort, on the Jetty, followed by a
reception at Rum Jetty. It was the best wedding we could
have ever hoped for. Our guests rented out 9 of your villas
(10 including ours) and from what I can tell everyone
thought Silver Sands was perfection.
I would absolutely recommend to a friend, and have done so
already. Jon and I left Silver Sands for Couples in Negril
for our honeymoon, just about everyone we spoke to there, we
told about our experience at your resort. I think we
definitely generated some interest! We will continue to brag
about Silver Sands and you can expect to see us again.
Sea Spray was the perfect size for
just the two of us for our stay. The staff, Lettice and
Daphane, were absolutely wonderful. They were very
accommodating and made sure all of our needs were met, not
to mention the incredible meals they prepared for us. The
location was incredible, being so close to the beach, but
still having the private pool. I would imagine the next time
we come, we will be in a larger group and will stay at one
of the bigger houses (I must admit, Primrose Path and
Summertime were definitely my favorites), but our memories
of Sea Spray will always be with us. I'm pleased we chose
that villa for our trip.
As for the Silver Sands staff, everyone was so incredibly
helpful! I couldn't believe how much personal attention we
received. It was remarkable to me that when we would call
the office, the staff knew who we were right
away.
Angella, by far, was key in our stay. She helped us coordinate not only our day trips, but also connect with Thelma, our wedding coordinator. She was extremely helpful too when we had to call after hours (e.g., when the power went out). They did a wonderful job: the attention to detail, and making us feel so welcome was really a nice touch.
As for ground transportation, Trevor was our driver most times. He was very timely and very accommodating when people had to stop at the ATM, or to pay up tabs at the grocery store. While I would say that people in Jamaica drive a bit crazy, I always felt comfortable with Trevor at the wheel!
We will definitely be back. Maybe for
an anniversary or just for a winter holiday! Silver Sands
far exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled to take
back so many warm, incredible memories!
I don't have many pictures downloaded at this time, but soon after I get those taken care of, you can be assured we will send those on!
