The foreshore at Silver
Sands is divided into two parts by a jetty, at the
end of which a picturesque gazebo has been
constructed.
The main swimming beach and
communal facilities are located to the East of the
jetty, while to the West, there is a snorkelers'
paradise, an onshore reef.
The jetty is another great
place to take a picnic. Many people take some
drinks and relax to watch the sunset.
There's nothing big to catch
there, but it is surprising how many people go out
there and drop their fishing lines.
At right, Ceri enjoys the
gazebo, taking in the cooling tradewinds as the sun
sets.
